Jessica Simpson was born July 10, 1980 in Waco, Texas and then grew up in Richardson, Texas where she went to J.J. Pearce High School. Her early singing career was in gospel music. In 1999 she released a major label debut record "Sweet Kisses" that went platinum. She is married to husband Nick Lachey and appears on the MTV Reality show Newlyweds with him.
